Daily Fresh
Fresh green vegetables, broccoli, kohlrabi, lettuce, cabbage and fennel, as well as zucchini… For everything there is a season. Mother Nature knows what's best for us, and when it's best for us. We concentrate our efforts on preparing our dishes so as to preserve their natural wholesomeness, and leave the rest to the changing seasons. The altitude of 800 meters above sea-level at which our hotel is located lends foods a particular flavor: Fruits and vegetables are tangier, stronger, and more vital. Those are qualities they share with the inhabitants of this altitude. A special dream – berries harvested in late summer.
And Saturdays always belong especially to South Tyrolean dishes.
A Little Detail of Your Breakfast:
Just a few meters away from your breakfast table, near the water fountain, you'll find fresh Lemon Balm, Chamomile, different varieties of Mint, and Lemon Verbena… Which you are free to pick for yourself. Let them steep as long as you like, until your tea has reached the desired strength and aroma… ah, delicious! You've never tasted anything wilder and more down-to-earth. Tomorrow (or perhaps already this afternoon?) you can mix them differently to vary the flavor.
